YUI - I Loved Yesterday Full Album

I Loved Yesterday continues Yui's winning streak -- it's Yui's third release along with the second to top the Oricon charts, using the debut album making it to the superior five. It's a deserved success, though there's not much to differentiate it from her previous efforts; is still acoustic guitar, professional arrangements (no budget cuts on strings, climax nothing in close proximity to orchestra size), and many Yui's singing, that is a wise move, since she sounds childish, nevertheless the good form of childish, as well as strong and versatile. There are moments when Yui almost shows the opportunity to become a Japanese Avril Lavigne, as an example, within the rocking interlude "No Way" specifically on "Daydreamer," at the outset of which she even is able to replicate Avril's bad girl vibe in their own voice. However, besides those moments, Yui is content to visit a safe musical route, being dedicated to her trademark semi-ballads and relying more about channeling the continuous flow of sweet guitar pop than about the strength of individual songs, that can in the mellow and dynamic variety, but have a similar emotional content, the keywords definitely being "summertime" and "youth" (titles like "Summer Song" and "My Generation" make that obvious). That approach ensures that I Loved Yesterday runs possibility of becoming background sound -- but for the other hand, the grade of the songs is high enough for making the record a superb mood setter, because positive and competent music is, in fact, rarely a bad thing, and "summer" plus "youth" usually equals "a superb time".

YUI - How Crazy Your Love Full Album

The wonderful Japanese Singer and Songwriter released her 5th studio album, How Crazy Your Love on November 2nd, 2011. As always, most major album or singles releases also come in either a regular edition or possibly a limited edition. What make’s this blog special will be the content on the special. The complete Hong Kong show with this past the summer months are included together with a short documentary showcasing her quantity of Hong Kong.

The album begins with Hello!, the theme song for Paradise Kiss released come early july. This upbeat track is a superb way to start the 5th album in an instant and really sets a bad for what is always to come. Separation is catchy soft rock song. I personally found the chorus somewhat of a let down than the rest of the track. Get Back Home follows and it's also a mid tempo’d ballad. As always, YUI’s voice is excellent on these soft ballads, the lead guitar and piano tracks really jump out here. Lock On could be the “lead song” with this album as it would be the opening theme for your jDrama, Kaito Royale. What stands out could be the very catchy chorus in addition to the trumpets conducive into it. The next track that follows is U-niform. In my mind, it was kind of a dissatisfied. It features upbeat acoustic guitars, and almost brings back the classic YUI feel from her debut. Cooking may be the next track. This song features a heavy affect string instruments, associated with YUI’s soft vocals, its quite the tune. A up beat pop rock track follows the ballads in RAIN. This song, released to be a single this season is catchy. I personally love this song a great deal. An interlude provides for us a break. This track titled Goodnight can be a short piano ballad. The next track will be the b-side incorporated with the Hello single titled YOU. I personally not much of a big fan in this song, but YUI’s voice really shines here. It’s My Life follows. This was an individual from recording. Its an exceptionally upbeat track having a heavy SKA influence! I really take pleasure in the brass instruments which are featured here as it truely does work very well using the song. No Reason is an excellent upbeat pop song here. Nobody Knows may be the second last track about this album and it also does the job being a great soft rock tune. To end the album, Green A.Live is chosen because the last track, and that is her last single.

The DVD content as said from the intro would be the complete concert from Hong Kong trapped on tape. What I can tell is that YUI’s singing has greatly improved over time. Already, you are able to tell that performance was high quality. I personally believe that show was much better than the one featured in the Hotel Holidays from the Sun live DVD released recording.

To end, this album is solid, and intensely shows that YUI’s music is evolving using the times. She again finds new approaches to incorporate different styles and sounds into her music to supply her a fresh voice. The exclusive edition content is well worth the price of the album alone!

YUI : Holidays In The Sun Full Album

Tracklist :

1. To Mother – a piano ballad from yui. She released this song like a single before this album to enter the world. This song will be the pioneer of evidence that yui is actually a versatile musician. She’s tinkering with instruments in this particular album too. This song would have been a perfect song for mother’s day but yui released it right after the day. She commented for this song that the been quite some time she wrote for herself and she or he wrote to contributing to her mother hence the title. She maybe feeling homesick or nostalgic with this one when she wrote it. The song incorporates a good melody that come with it giving the song a good soft piano ballad feeling…

2. Bgain – The first song she released after having her hiatus and would be the OP song in the late epic great anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which now follows the manga story and it also was really a lot better than the old one(may have a review upon it soon if i have time). This song contains proof than yui will make, write, compose just about any music and fasten her trademark impression of her. The first time i heard this, i had been like,” wow, this sort of kick ass song to be with her comeback!” Apparently too, with this song, she will sing stressful too like rapping but incorporates a wonderful melody…

3. Parade – Now this some tips i call relaxing summer beach music. Accompanied by percussions and accordion effects on keyboards, the song sense that a holiday in Paris or outing in a very summer sunny beach. Holidays within the Sun indeed. One in the best relaxing songs inside the album.

4. Es.car – a rock-ish song using a touch of strings and keyboard piano. This song reminds of her debut album “From Me to You”. The way she sings plus the feel with the song, brings me back when initially when i first time i heard yui’s album. The piano solo also from the bridge is wonderful to see. She is really experimenting on putting more instruments on her behalf songs.

5. Shake My Heart – Another song having a summer beach or European vacation feel. Of course, the song is actually relaxing too. The chorus is that has a choir. She also added her newly addicted instrument which may be the Shaker, a smaller object produces a “maracas” sound when you finally shake it… This song can also be varies from her style. When i pay attention to this song, i'm at peace and wish to take a vacation at the tranquil beach.

6. Gloria – The song she released at winter season which really seems like a winter song. She just added the song inside the album because its among her singles. Another good song from her, this her 2nd song since she gathered a great female band as her back-up band and has a definite keyboardist. So almost all of her songs next has keyboards inside. Loved the way in which she adds the keyboards, made her songs more textured.

7. I Actually Do It – This the song she wrote for your girl band trio “Stereopony” when she is at hiatus. Lucky for your singer in the band Aimi, the big fan of her. She just reached visit the sony studio the location where the girl band was recording. They were introduced and within the end, they jammed making it a new song. Stereopony released the song afterwards but yui as song writer credit. So basically, vid self cover of her song she wrote for an individual or band. She derived several beats and rhythm riffs to be with her version, but overall, both versions rock.

8. Please Stay With Me – Another song that reminds her old-style. This song really reminds of her song “Tokyo”. This song can be used being a theme of your Japanese Rom-Com Drama Series called “Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku” meaning Summer Romance Shines a Rainbow Color featuring Matsu Jun, a lover girl material actor when he is super duper handsome, however for me, i liked the drama on account of yui’s dear friend Yuko Takeuchi(Closed Note, Sidecar ni inu, ima, Ai ni Yukimasu).

9. Summer Song – A very old song of hers. This was this is not on the 2nd album given it was released after. Then yui announced her hiatus after releasing My Short Stories, “a best of” album containing the many b-sides(other songs that has been put to be with her singles) she released. She is one the youngest and earliest release a a “best of” album inside the Japanese Music industry. The song has indeed an understanding of summer. This is perfectly added using a summer themed album. This song apparently is like a sequel of her song Laugh Away.

10. Cinnamon – This song singing style can also be the same back inside the “From Me to You” days. The song includes a unique melody too. A cheerful song too. Apparently the song also includes a summer feel although its a little bit stressful. More textures too within the song because with the keyboard.

11. Driving Happy Life – Her “happiest” song in the album which can be her trademark in most album. A lively feel song thats best for running. Also this can also be a good driving song. Can imagine driving over the sea in the side with the windows open feeling the sea breeze. while enjoying this song. Cheerful summer themed song.

12. It's Way Too Much – This song was implemented as the theme song from the movie “Kaiji: Worlds Greatest Gambler”, which really was awesome. Actors in the live action movie of Death Note once more together within this remarkable movie, in addition to “Never say die” song. This song’s PV showed once yui to put it briefly hair(she was cute with this one) along with the first song with an exciting female band. This song is pure awesome. Killer guitar riffs and wonderful keyboard accompaniment.

13. Kiss Me – Another song from her thats stuck just using her first album. A yui love song the good news is very textured by various instruments.

YUI From Me to You Full Album

Yui is usually a Japanese pop singer who comes from Fukuoka, Japan. She sings, plays beginners guitar, and began writing poetry inside the ninth grade. Aspiring to be a professional musician, Yui began carrying around her guitar and singing for the sea shores of Shingu and also the rice fields of Kaminofu.

From Me to You is Yui's debut album, released on February 22, 2006. Since then, it is selling rather effectively, reaching 9th around the weekly most sold album charts. Currently, the girl with on a nationwide tour promoting her new album.

One reason the album has been doing so well is simply because Yui's voice, basically, is beautiful. Her voice is solid and she or he displays great mastery in switching between her powerful voice and her wispy and raspy styles, especially before she rips in to a chorus. Her voice does seem like a young girl's on occasion but given that the girl with only nineteen it's actually not that big of an deal and radiates a much more natural feel. Yui's voice just isn't overproduced, starting a "live" feel, as though jane is really soaking in your lounge singing.

Yui's songwriting is actually superb. Her lyrics are fantastic, and her choruses are extremely powerful, they'll haunt you inside your sleep for the following six months. Doubtful? Give a hear "Merry Go Round" or "Feel My Soul," songs that begin slow until they hit the chorus after which explode. Yui includes a definite talent for writing sensational vocal hooks in her own repertoire. The song "I Know" has among the catchiest vocal intros ever. Her slow ballads may also be full of emotion, "Tokyo" and "Blue Wind" are songs that can, undoubtedly, tingle your spine. Yui proves that music is really universal. It doesn"t matter should you choose or don"t understand Japanese, because after you hear her sing, you will understand her songs on the heart, and within the end, that's all that matters.

From Me to You is often a pop album, however, you'll find definite roots embedded deeply in rock. Although, the tunes is played out by studio musicians, Yui writes the tunes and lyrics, and continues playing her electric guitar at gigs.

The music with this album is brilliant. Unlike many pop acts inside the States in which the percussion is either a machine or maybe a musty musician, the drums about this are definitely not stale. Drummer Masayuki Muraishi, incorporates ghost notes, doubles, buzz rolls, as well as other hi-hat syncopations with the assortment of crash accents into simple beats, which make the drums roar alive! The bassist, Tatsuhiro Endo, syncs while using drums to experiment with a vivid purring intro in "Just My Way" and plays marvelous fills throughout "Life." Hideyuki Suzuki, plants simple but spectacular guitar solo’s in numerous songs through the album; his intro to "Spiral and Escape" is usually very simple but astonishingly catchy. These musicians play off 1 another extremely well, each complimenting the mediocre ones style while supporting Yui"s stunning vocals.

If you ever see this album, buy it. Even if you haven't ever listened to a pop album inside your life. Even if all you could ever hear is death metal. Buy it. Download it. Steal it from a friend. However you must obtain it, obtain it. This is any particular one hidden album sitting with a shelf worth lots of times over its shop price.

The album title, Can't Buy My Love's message is "Ai suru mono ni wa kantan ni wa yuzurenai" (愛する ものには 簡単には 譲れない) which implies in English "I can't easily give over things that I adore."

  9. Highway Chance
  10. Happy Birthday To You You
  11. Winding Road
  12. Good-bye Days
  13. Why?

Track commentary:

1. How crazy – Ah! The ‘rebellious’ tabs on the album. That is, by YUI’s usually squeaky-clean standards. Just, y’know, ‘don’t talk just like you know me’. That kind of thing. Still quite catchy – she proves her capability to sing fast without tripping over syllables, basically. I wish she’d release an acoustic version with this.

2. Rolling star – This was one of several ending themes for popular anime Bleach, and it also brought her more fame, which can be always good. Her first single with the electric guitar. Not my personal favorite song of hers, but it’s quite unique to be with her.

3. It’s alright – Ah! I find this song cute. :3 Acoustic guitar-based. Very… reassuring.

4. I remember you – I love this song. :3 It’s much like the single version, just the same. Easy to play, as well as simple on the ears. Can’t fail with this. Reminds me of Taiyou no Uta .

5. RUIDO – This is doubtless the best song about the album. Electric guitar-based, /very/ fast as well as short. Fifty one seconds, if I remember right. They kept it this short to ensure it’d sound cooler. Ridiculously all to easy to play also.

6. CHE.R.RY – The killer song. It’s one of the most cheerful thing I’ve have you ever heard from her – it’s about love. Happy, satisfied love. Uhh… It’s very, very brain-numbing, and also on first hearing, it’s nothing special. Two hours later, when it’s resounding in your mind, you’ll aim for a nice hard, flat work surface nearby to bang your forehead on.

7. Thank you My teens – The most heartfelt song for the album – provided by YUI for my child fans. YUI’s fanbase has lots of teenagers, all things considered. ‘Thank you for supporting me this far.’ Something this way?

8. Umbrella – Starts by having an interesting acoustic arpeggio. Nothing really special over it, though.

9. Highway Chance – I like how the song starts. Slow and quiet – and so the drums and various guitars come crashing in, and you also jump skyhigh.

10. Happy Birthday To You You – My question for you is, why two ‘you’s? It’s happy and upbeat, though. I would listen to it for any guys having a birthday.😄 But then again, I’m notoriously lame prefer that.

11. Winding road – I heard a rumour this was about the soundtrack of some movie or another, but I couldn’t believe it is. Anyway, I like this song. It has nice chord sequences that I approve of.

12. Goodbye Days – One of the best songs from her. I never get fed up with it because I associate the movie together with the song, and after that I want to start crying in the instrumental break. =_= Yes. If you already know just this song, watch the movie too – then you’ll have fun here even more. I can realize why she usually starts crying if she creates this change song live.

13. Why? – Very standard YUI ballad. Nice and deceptively simple plucking during the entire first half the song.

Bring Me the Horizon - Sempiternal Full Album

It’s been too long since we’ve seen something totally new from Bring Me The Horizon. They’re among the most respected names in metalcore today, along with their fans are actually eagerly awaiting a different release. And with some skepticism and controversy, involving switching with a major label plus the evident tensions between ex-rhythm guitarist Jona Weinhofen, finally we're ready to enjoy Sempiternal.

It might be a redundant statement, but once metalcore is a great one, it’s just good. Bring Me The Horizon incorporates a pretty good standing of just bringing it if he or she have a fresh release. And bring it they did on Sempiternal. And it’s not with the common reasons, like they’ve gotten heavier, or they have a brand new guitarist with this other known band. Well, they certainly do have a whole new keyboardist and lost one among their guitarists, but I don’t think that’s why the album so amazing. Sempiternal is still equipped with the energetic and crowd-pumping sound of past BMTH albums, but like the majority of good bands, initiated a policy of to explore a new sounds to include to their sound.

Songs like “House of Wolves” and “Antivist” represent the sounds with the band which the fans love; detailed with breakdowns, gang vocals, and anything else that really makes BMTH so infectious. But Sempiternal also explores an even more emotional and atmospheric soundscapes to thicken and broaden their abilities. It definitely increases the album more character to part ways it from yet another metalcore album. "Shadow Moses", (technically the title track), showcases this integration with the atmosphere inside their sound. Other tracks like "Crooked Young", "Can You Feel My Heart", and "Hospital for Souls" demonstrate this too. They are executed incredibly well and plays a role in an extremely full and well-rounded album.

Basically, if you’re already into metalcore or Bring Me The Horizon, this really is going to hit it out from the park available for you. The added amount of ambiance brings additional depth and emotion which enables it to probably pull in most doubters. Some might complain how the newer explorations may have made this guitar rock band weaker than past albums, especially now with Weinhofen gone. That's definitely a genuine statement, although it certainly doesn't make Sempiternal bad, yet it is different. It's not at all a perfect album, but I personally similar to this new direction they seem to be embarking upon. Amidst some on the problems it accepted get there, Sempiternal is surely an amazing release by among the bigger names in metalcore. I would endorse this to anyone trying to find good metalcore.

Taylor Swift – Red ( Full Album )

Review

Red is usually a 16-song geyser of willful eclecticism that's only tangentially associated with Nashville (similar to Swift herself at this stage). The album pinballs through the U2-tinged liftoff of "State of Grace" on the dubstep-y teen pop of "I Knew You Were Trouble" to "The Last Time," an unfortunate piano duet with Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol. Swift's bedrock is driving, diaristic post-country rock – begin to see the breakup flashback "All Too Well," where she drops the fantastic image of "dancing throughout the kitchen from the refrigerator light" with your ex ex.

Part on the fun is watching Swift find her pony-footing on Great Songwriter Mountain. She often succeeds in joining the Joni/Carole King tradition of stark-relief emotional mapping: "Loving him is similar to trying to change your mind once you're already flying with the free fall," she sings within the simile-monsoon title track, where banjos and vocoders write out like third cousins. But whether she's real-talking Jake Gyllenhaal ("We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together") or fantasizing about crashing "a yacht-club party" that sounds uncannily such as Kennedy bash she attended together with her current future-ex-boyfriend Conor ("Starlight"), her self-discovery project is one on the best stories in pop. When she's really on, her songs can be like tattoos.

Isyana Sarasvati – Explore (Full Album)

To a trained listener, the arrival of Isyana Sarasvati shouldn’t be described as a surprise. In a pop scene stuffed with young, and seemingly gifted soloist like Raisa and Tulus, 22 yr old Sarasvati have been cut on the same cloth. Attractive and packagable, could be the two word that probably entered Sony Music Indonesia’s head honcho whenever they first spot Sarasvati. And yet, looking a bit deeper there’s clearly something a little more about this one.

Isyana Sarasvati is undoubtedly an oddity. She’s really the only pop musician in Indonesia, or maybe even in your neighborhood, with degree in music and scholarship to examine in The Royal College of Music in London. Local media called her a breath of outside; a pop artist with High a higher level skill, taste and experience. In fact, considering her Wikipedia page, one could imagine that they’re considering an opera singer instead of a singer which has a very popular hit single.

This contrast clearly shows in their debut album, and her seek to bridge the dichotomy between her past and doubtless her future, makes Explore (2015; Sony Music Indonesia) an intriguing album to analyze.

Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift 2006 Full Album

All of 16 when she recorded this debut album, country-pop singer Taylor Swift's considerably strong voice straddles that precarious edge that both suggests experience far beyond her several simultaneously leaves undoubtedly that she's still got a great deal of life to reside. It's a fresh, still girlish voice, packed with hope and naïveté, but it is also a confident and mature one. That Swift can be a talent being reckoned with isn't in doubt: her delivery on tracks such as uptempo "The Outside," the spare acoustic ballad "Mary's Song (Oh My My My)," and also the leadoff track, "Tim McGraw," that was the first single in the album, belongs to a seasoned pro, despite Swift's newcomer status. "Tim McGraw" are often the album's highlight -- not only a teenager's tribute to your country superstar, it instead uses McGraw like a marker in the lover's time line: "When you imagine Tim McGraw/I hope you would imagine my favorite song." It's a device that is used countless times in as much ways, those of associating a failed affair with items, places, the ones, yet it works to be a hook here and is able to come off for an original idea. Swift wrote or co-wrote every song within the record, a rather remarkable feat taking into consideration the sophisticated procedure by which she treats matters near and dear to your heart of 1 her age ("Now that I'm sitting here thinking it through/I've never been anywhere cold as you"). Producer/mentor Nathan Chapman has used on some of Swift's songs a gloss that doesn't all of them really require and in many cases would learn better to shed. But Swift doesn't have trouble overcoming any blandness going down around her. She's create a commendable starter album that's as accomplished each and every by a ten-year veteran who's seen far more road and felt additional emotion. Swift's young age can be a major priority in bringing listeners in, but right at the end of the record she's succeeded to keep them.

Taylor Swift - Beautiful Eyes Full Album

A mere blip for the radar in comparison to Swift's other releases containing decent attempts at refining her sound

Believe it or otherwise not, Taylor Swift wasn’t always the media juggernaut she is today. Although she was popular determined a crossover hit with “Teardrops in my Guitar” it didn’t appear like she would ever progress past not a precocious teen using a knack for writing decent hooks. Apparently Big Machine Records thought a similar thing because immediately after her first nationwide tour, her label made her produce another EP of songs both new and re-mastered. The entire goal ended up being keep insatiable fans’ appetites whetted until her proper follow-up album, and it also’s obvious which the EP is undoubtedly of lesser quality than her previous material. It wouldn’t be considered a stretch to label this a money grab, but Swift is undoubtedly oblivious, writing catchy new material and providing new looks on a few of her previously released hits.

Swift obviously still were built with a lot of identifying to do when she recorded this record and it also shows. Her songs still show a distinctive balance between pop and country but jane is still struggle to straddle the queue while excelling equally at both. Even on Taylor Swift it absolutely was apparent that Swift’s music was more accessible and refined in the event it contained a pop edge as an alternative to just country instruments. However, perhaps in an effort not to ever alienate Swift’s biggest market right at that moment, Beautiful Eyes is a half-and-half assortment of both straightforward pop cuts and country accented anthems for your Shania Twain crowd. The most evidently country influenced song, “I Heart ?” is usually the least appealing and interesting song available here. And, unfortunately, half the songs which can be found here aren’t original tracks. These songs turn out to be useless as they’re just alternate versions from the songs that her fans already adore. Had she included new material, for example non-album track “I’d Lie” the album this EP could’ve been a substantial addition to her catalogue. As it stands, however, it’s pretty unnecessary for anybody outside of a die-hard to obtain.

The previously unheard material is vintage Swift back with her innocence prevailing over her future bitterness and anger. At the ripe era of 17, it seems as if she really has hope of finding love and allows herself to become caught off guard by boys with beautiful eyes and nice smiles. Claims like “I’ve got an I heart question mark/ written within the back of my hand” seem brazen and vengeful as compared to the rest from the material on here while if she stated that today, nobody would bat an eyelash. One thing which can be said about it EP is the fact that it’s the very first, and just, time that Swift allows herself for being happy and free of anxiety. Her persona within the EP is her at her most human; she genuinely does sound like she might be the shy girl while using locker near to yours that writes poetry in the free time. If nothing else, this release succeeds for making Swift a lot more relatable than any other time and accomplishes this steer clear revenge fantasies but by her letting her guard down and revealing that they really is the same as the rest of us.

Rihanna - Full Album ANTI 2016

What the hell happened with Anti? Rihanna’s eighth album has been doing works for a year or two, and anticipation did start to skyrocket just around last year as she started releasing singles. There was the acoustic campfire sing-along that brought together Kanye West that has a Beatle, the snoozing ballad that sounded as being a reject from Empire, as well as a raucous powerhouse which has a memorable video of Rih covered in blood while murdering her accountant. None of such singles are here. She officially announced the album in November, launching a few increasingly convoluted interactive apps with Samsung, every major holiday was full of rumors it would emerge. It finally arrived on the Wednesday afternoon in late January, seemingly mistakenly posted on TIDAL, the Jay Z-owned streaming service that Rihanna has played a sizable role to promote since its launch recently. It was removed within minutes, and after news which it would be a TIDAL exclusive, was released online, bypassing the existing infrastructure big and delivering it right to a million fans.

After nearly per year of buzz, debate, and speculation, Rihanna’s decision to pretend 2015 never happened could have been the best thing she can have done for Anti. Leaving out those singles keeps Anti from feeling stale, making for a disorienting listen. Similar to Beyoncé’s 4, Anti is undoubtedly an example of most significant pop stars on this planet subverting expectations by releasing an album of disparate styles, including old-school soul and dancehall to funk and psych rock. Few tracks seem tailored towards the radio. There’s nary a “Diamonds” or “Love the Way You Lie”, not to say a “Bitch Better Have My Money”. Instead, Rihanna made an album that has a minute-long approximation of the very most recent Thundercat record plus a cover of an Tame Impala song not few months old.

Some artists try so desperately to act like they don’t supply a fuck who's becomes transparent. Rihanna just isn't one of them. Her flaunting of guidelines got her infamously banned from Instagram not too long ago. She’s a fashion icon, with every choice both baffling and supremely sign of her personality. She’s carried that attitude to her musical work, making decisions in regards to the songs around the album and it is rollout so recklessly that they can almost border on self-sabotage. Because jane is Rihanna, she pulls it well, crafting a work certainly where an Sam Cooke-style ballad can fit alongside a lurching, nocturnal electronic track co-written by The Weeknd and Travis Scott without tonal whiplash. The pieces might not fit together neatly, but Anti is clearly the album Rihanna planned to make.

The absence of pressure to produce radio hits makes Anti a vast improvement over the more formulaic approach of her last two records. While you'll find certainly missteps just like the bland “Never Ending”, the Rihanna of 2010 wouldn’t release a smooth, understated R&B jam like “Yeah, I Said It” or even a down-tempo dancehall cut like “Work” because official lead single. Part of which can be due to shifts within the landscape. If Justin Bieber can score winner single having a watered-down version in the genre, surely the artist who wrote “Pon De Replay” can strike gold off of the public’s recent interest. The approach excels, specifically in moments like “Higher”, a thunderous ballad where she pushes her vocal prowess past its breaking point, packing an album’s in stunning moments into two minutes. Rihanna was not ever indulgent, but four songs underneath the three-minute mark, she can give adequate while leaving ’em wanting more.

It likewise helps that Rihanna is in fact the only voice present on Anti. Drake fits his verse in nicely, conceding the spotlight enough in order that he doesn’t cannibalize the track. The only other feature about the record is SZA, who results in a formidable partner about the lush opener. While hearing Rihanna faithfully reinterpreting Tame Impala on “Same Ol’ Mistakes” is initially jarring, she owns the self-reflection well and truly helps it be her own. Anti is Rihanna’s show, and she or he certainly doesn’t require the help.

Midway through, over an uncharacteristically choppy DJ Mustard beat, Rihanna pens the best kiss-off for an ex around the masterful “Needed Me”. Alternating from the swooning chorus and aggressive flows for the verse (while using quintessential Rihanna lyric: “Didn’t they convince you I was a savage?”), Rihanna helps it be clear the former beau screwed up. The best song around the album, it seems like Rihanna’s revealing the fourth wall. Up to 2012, Rihanna released albums almost annually. Now which it’s been over 3 years without her, she's made it clear how vital jane is to the actual state of pop music. Anti takes risks and disregards convention in ways that only a true superstar like Rihanna could do.

Rihanna - A GIRL LIKE ME 2006 Full Album

When Rihanna hit the earth running in 2005, she devoted many her music towards various styles. A blending of styles gave her a fairly distinct sound, set her up, and provided her with something to aspire towards in the second record, which came pretty quickly after her first, despite her continual touring. Of course, her first record was commercially quite successful, so naturally you’d expect similar material to litter the 2nd album – and yes it does, just about all comes with some very memorable moments.

The album opener, “SOS” is a second exploitation of Soft Cell’s 1981 rendition of Ed Cobb's “Tainted Love.” Of all the cover versions that seek to replicate the prosperity of Soft Cell’s, Rihanna’s is among the better ones. Why? Because it’s not really a bastardised version seeking to claim success on the exact same song structure. “SOS” usually is a good combination of Rihanna’s “Pon De Replay” like rhythms, and Soft Cell’s synth-pop clamour of chords, where the lyrics are actually shifted to suit the theme, and for that reason makes for a superb album initiator.

Music from the Sun (2005) experimented with demonstrate the influence of Rihanna’s musical heritage on the Caribbean, but fell as a result of poor song writing from Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken. “Kisses Don’t Lie” is the best genuine angst driven love song. Sure, it’s nothing new, but it’s still a reasonably catchy cue, which blends both reggae syncopation and R&B.

One problem that immediately pops into your head when listening could be that the first four tracks are the most effective, but everything just falls behind. Whoever decide to put the four best songs first was obviously a moron. If the singles were evenly distributed over perhaps once every three tracks it would give the listener a lot more incentive to hold on listenin’. But without getting too negative, the songs which do fall can offer their moments. Such as “A Million Miles Away,” featuring its calming combination of piano, Rihanna, and emotion, along with the similarly love driven tabs on “Final Goodbye.” Then there is the reggae oriented tracks which taint the center section in the album, causeing this to be album in several ways, more reggae influenced then her earlier effort. The songs aren’t amazing, but show an improved progression from your two major songwriters, Sturken and Rogers.

The other two great instalments came from here are obviously, “Unfaithful,” and “We Ride.” While the vocal performance on Unfaithful may become a bit irritating, it’s still definitely worth the listen, even so the lyrics don’t really take into account the emotion, whoever thought Rihanna would ever consider herself a murderer? Then there is the road-trippin’ roll-off part of We Ride and that is certainly second best to “SOS.”

Like Music in the Sun, this album ends pretty badly. "A total anti-climax" is the thing that “If It’s Lovin’ That You Want” should have already been called. But I suppose albums in this way don't exactly have to help keep up the pace at this kind of late stage on the disc. It’s tough to pinpoint why the album kicks a unique goals, and easily lets other through irresponsibly. There are many reasons why the album could possibly be interpreted as bad, a sizable a lot that might be attributed to proficiency from her. What ever the reasons why, A Girl Like Me, is still quite a good pop album, which certainly creates better listening then her first album.

Bon Jovi - BOUNCE SPECIAL EDITION 2002 Full Album

Bon Jovi's massive group of fans have had to attend two long years just for this, Bon Jovi's first release since 2000's Crush. Bounce shouldn't disappoint their die hard fans since the band doesn't stray definately not their trademark sound that made them famous throughout the world. They go through winning recipe; a nutritious mixture of rock anthems and sultry ballads that's likely to get the guys 'n' girls playing air guitar to each and every song.

From the opening heavy drum beat from the first song "Undivided" for the final guitar solo on the last track "Open All Night" this really is unmistakably Bon Jovi; radio-friendly hard rock. This first song is lyrically the weakest song about the album with Jovi's repeated chorus: 'one for love, one for truth...' It is quite a dark and uninspiring opening track which sets a bad tone for an album that may be influenced by the events of September 11th. Thankfully, another track and recent single, "Everyday", is more of a pop rock song which consists of unusual opening bars, slightly offbeat drumming and catchy chorus. It's set being another with their anthems, easily sitting alongside such legends as "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "Keep The Faith".

"Everyday", "Love Me Back to Life" and "Bounce" are typical upbeat, loud tracks with superb power chords, an enormous drumbeat and Jovi's unmistakable vocals that ooze good clean American fun. You won't have the ability to stop your toes tapping and also your hands playing imaginary drums.
However, the rest on the album might be more mellow and reflective as compared to their previous albums. Gone include the wild celebratory songs which can be heard on Crush and Keep the Faith as well as in their place there exists a bleaker, even sombre sound. The ballads here, "You Had Me From Hello" and "All About Lovin' You", don't quite hit the objective and are not inside the same league as classics "Always" and "Bed of Roses".

All in all of the Bounce is surely an album every Bon Jovi fan needs to have in their collection, the duvet and booklet are pretty fantastic to begin. They haven't split up any barriers here, however they have once more successfully bridged the gap between aerobics and stadium rock.

Avenged Sevenfold - NIGHTMARE 2010 Full Album

Avenged Sevenfold. This name is fairly often synonymous with generic, underwhelming, as well as other unlikable characteristics. Past albums out of this band have always lacked something, the other of these shortcomings may be the ability to successfully deliver emotion through their music. This is something Avenged Sevenfold has frequently failed at, with one exception (I Won’t See You Tonight, Part 1). Something just clicks using this album, and other emotions seep throughout most songs, whether it's anger and angst (God Hates Us), melancholy (Victim and Tonight the World Dies), or reflection (So Far Away).

On one other hand, the complete songwriting has matured greatly on “Nightmare” ever since the underwhelming self-titled album. Not every song is generic verse-chorus structure, even though choruses exist, the songs don't always follow a formulaic structure. Lyrics are far better than their previous effort, while they tend to target the loss of band-mate and greatest friend “The Rev.” As a result, the lyrics are extremely inspired and sound genuine, apart from a few moments (title track “Nightmare”). Most importantly, M. Shadows decreases the nasal-whine he's got become infamous for, producing his best performance since Waking the Fallen.

Another thing Avenged Sevenfold has improved on dramatically is song diversity. Every song sounds exclusive, and it’s near impossible to confuse one track for an additional pair. In fact, practically every musical influence you can imagine finds its way onto “Nightmare”, including jazz, progressive rock, death metal, pop rock, and in some cases neoclassical music! Unlike the self-titled album, however, the abundance of influences improves the album instead of detracting from this. The album never feels bloated, as every one of the influences assist to feed the band’s emotion for the listener, as an alternative to for the sake of just being there. Surprisingly, with the variety of influences, Avenged Sevenfold were able to create a unified atmosphere that pulls the listener in and do not lets go. It’s truly an experience that need to be experienced on your own. Anyone knows it’s challenging to explain the atmospheric feelings that bands like Opeth produce.

Flaws usually are not exempt, however. The first one half of the album is a lot more formulaic compared to the latter half, and falls a lttle bit short. Sometimes Avenged Sevenfold has recently overlooked verses so they could earn bombtastic choruses, which inevitably brings about some annoyingly generic moments. However, these flaws are miniscule when confronted with numerous positives that will make this album quite excellent.

  1. Nightmare
  2. Welcome to the Family
  3. Danger Line
  4. Buried Alive
  5. Natural Born Killer
  6. So Far Away
  7. God Hate Us

Avenged Sevenfold - HAIL TO THE KING Full Album 2013

Avenged Sevenfold will not be too shy in talk of the new album. The one thing that frequently popped up in interviews regarding Hail on the King is when different it’s destined to be from previous releases. Talk and promises of how it’s destined to be a throwback to some with their biggest influences will be the hot topic. It’s definitely a familiar story in which a band desires to lose all tricks and stunts and write good music. It’s an admirable thing for any band to execute, especially and simply if it’s done properly.

For Avenged Sevenfold, this will mean slower tempos, simpler song structures, and catchier choruses will be prevalent from the album. Now, I am definitely a large fan of A7X and I have already been for many years, but have been among those who think we were holding losing their touch somewhat. Their previous albums have already been pretty a guessing game, leaning on the miss side. Avenged Sevenfold was too experimental due to its own good, and Nightmare, while a fitting tribute to The Rev, just fell short as a possible A7X album.

Admittedly, I do have my biases; I love Waking the Fallen and City of Evil a great deal, it’s hard to not compare newer releases with those excellent albums. But in those albums, they've definitely proven themselves as serious musicians when it’s time for you to lay down an album. Despite what folks might think, I’m positive they firmly determine what they are doing because of their careers.

Well, we certainly can’t state that they didn’t warn us. Hail for the King is definitely somewhat of a departure for A7X. It’d certainly be a pretty big stretch to label this the metalcore of City of Evil. And you understand what? It’s really not that bad. A7X has always had little taste of any little old-fashioned, and Hail to your King is defined as an amplification of the influences. Flavors of bands like Pantera, Led Zeppelin and Metallica are pretty transparent during the entire album. So again, they delivered what exactly they are actually promising for months now; a little change in their styles devoted to a more bluesy, groove-based sound without other gimmicks.

Some on the high moments are songs like “Requiem” that can bring the band to their more “evil” side. It gets underway with choir chant vocals, is later along with orchestral strings, and easily has a good dark atmosphere to search along with it. “Crimson Day” is a good slower song too, and certainly my favorite track from the album. I really enjoyed the down-tempo, more emotional songs from Nightmare, plus it’s good to listen for that the group can still knock it out on the park using the more emotional numbers.

Many with the familiar aspects which make A7X so memorable continue to be present and accounted for at the same time. They have their classic dueling guitar solos like “Coming Home”, Synester Gates gets a good amount of soloing time, M. Shadows voice leads the way in reference to his raspy charge. There’s even appearances from orchestral brass and strings. All the elements are available that happen to be present for other successful A7X albums.

But honestly, it will eventually get a bit old. While the songs are pretty memorable with an increase of catchy choruses and well defined melodies, it doesn’t mean I always need to listen to your song. “This Means War” features a simple and catchy chorus, but is additionally not exactly one of one of the best songs. It’s one on the longer songs, (clocking around 6:08), and it also’s the same thing again and again. The riff is cool, and not when I've heard a similar riff for 6 minutes.

And some on the later songs inside album, like “Coming Home” and “Heretic” just blend together which enables it to get forgotten pretty easily. The closing song, “Acid Rain” is certainly a throwaway, honestly it’s form of best to skip it. And while “Requiem” did an admirable job of providing a dark and atmospheric texture, the opener “Shepherd of Fire” and “Planets” attempt similar methods plus it ends up sounding unwarranted. Mostly, it really sounds like a brass section wandered within their studio plus they didn’t need to do a retake.

The final point here is that this rock band obviously worked very difficult on creating an album that shifted their styles a lttle bit from a hyper and quicker-paced metalcore-ish sound into a stripped down, groovier metal with flavors from the past. And they did this, but forgot to account for the lack of variety. New drummer, Arin Ilejay is defined as playing a similar drumbeat for the duration in the album; “Crimson Day” and “Acid Rain” are actually the only songs where he changes feels a tad. I might be accused of nitpicking just a little too much while using aforementioned flaws in the Hail on the King, but I prepare those together with the high moments of Hail on the King likewise.

The thing I’ve struggled together with the most is merely determining in the event the album is nice, bad or meh. Is it good given that they accomplished just what exactly they said they'd, or it can be bad given it doesn’t quite have as much of any wow factor as some in their previous releases? Or, is it a combination on the black and white, creating a meh? Well, amidst my nitpicking, I can still declare that I do no less than like this album.  I would certainly rank Hail to your King above their past several releases, but it’s not likely up there in Avenged Sevenfold’s shining moments. But if you're already a lover, check it and you'll apt to be impressed. If you've never given them a go, than the could be the album to get you in.
